Bruce talks punk music, YDP, KITH and more on “Rocket from Russia” radio show

From the YDP Facebook page:

Boy are you in for an hour long treat featuring Bruce McCulloch, his passion for punk music and how it has become an integral part of YOUNG DRUNK PUNK. Every Thursday Russian Tim hosts the punk rock show ROCKET FROM RUSSIA on CiTR 101.9 FM from the campus of University of British Columbia, and recently he devoted his entire show to our favourite new sit com on City. It’s an in-depth interview with Bruce, accompanied by great punk rock music from the 80s to the present day, and even a track from Bruce’s “Shame Based Man.” As an extra bonus there is also a classic Kids in the Hall sketch featuring Bruce. It’s awesome, commercial free and has me saying “Amen” in praise of great campus radio. This will take you to the ROCKET FROM RUSSIA page with more detail on this. Scroll down and you’ll find the link to the full show with Bruce. You’re welcome! http://rocketfromrussia.tumblr.com/post/111003495724

Many of the Kids’ greatest sketches centered on music, and they actually produced some remarkably catchy tunes, even if the lyrics were jokes. (Admit it, you’ve caught yourself singing “Terriers” under your breath more than once.)
